This is not just another exhibition. This is a curated space of collaborative curation, where the celebrated Hypnosis Gallery opens its arms to other galleries and art institutions across the globe, building something beyond individual expression: a shared artistic dialogue.

What Is Artist Expo?

 

Artist Expo is a dynamic, evolving exhibition program born from partnerships. It is designed for occasions when Hypnosis Gallery steps beyond its own walls and joins forces with another creative entity — a gallery, a cultural center, or an arts institution — to co-host a unified exhibition.

Each Artist Expo is a new conversation. A new rhythm.
A shared canvas.
Unlike the Hypnosis-only exhibitions, which are exclusively curated by our team, Artist Expo thrives in collaboration — creating a space where multiple perspectives shape the final form.

Cost of Participation

Unlike Hypnosis’s annual Moon exhibition, Artist Expo is not a free event. Participation fees vary based on:

The partnering gallery or institution’s prestige and location.

The scope and length of the exhibition.

Additional offerings such as publication, talks, or joint catalogs.

However, all fees are transparently communicated through the official Call for Artists released prior to each exhibition. There are no hidden costs — only clear paths.

How It Works

Each edition of Artist Expo begins with a detailed open call.
This announcement includes:

  • The exhibition’s theme, date, and format (physical, online, or hybrid).
  • The venue(s) and partner organizations.
  • Eligibility criteria, number of accepted artists, and display formats.
  • Application process, including selection criteria and submission deadlines.
  • Participation cost and what it covers.

All artists — from emerging voices to seasoned professionals — are welcome to submit their applications.

Selections are made by a panel of curators from both Hypnosis and the partnering institution.

What Happens After?

After the exhibition concludes, participating artists will receive:
